The Lady at this Guest House is one of the most helpful people you would ever wish to meet.Amongst many things she did for us was retrieve our passports from the previous hotel we stayed at 300K away. This was all done in a day and a bit which we were very grateful as the next day we had to fly back to the UK. Thank you again Bridget!
This hotel is very close to the town and has a courtyard with a very nice pool. Rooms are a good size and the breakfast was enough for us not to eat for the rest of the day.

The owner is very nice and friendly. She does anything possible to make you comfortable. Breakfast was good. Close to city centre (1km).
The room was not very clean. The towels smelled of humidity. The windows could not be locked as they are old and the frame was crooked. The swimmingpool was dirty. The garden needs to be cared of.

They went out of their way to make us comfortable and to assist us. My Father was ill and they assisted us with an early check-in so that he could rest. Thank you!

The place was quiet and calm, the breakfast was good.
The guest was quite cold and the rooms looked much more better in photos than in reality.

Nice room, but Livesey Lodge looks more like a motel on a busy highway. Very few services available. Surprisingly, though, the guest house was nice!
nothing to do other than a pool and a self-serve "bar".

The room was tidied nicely but not really clean. We often found creepy crawlies and spiders in our room.
Found the garden messy and unkempt and therefore spiders and other insects were present.

Our whale watching tour was organised by the owner, Bridget, who replied to my email request before we arrived in the country and sorted everything out for us when we arrived.
